Last month the ONS humiliating had to admint that its numbers on the economy for quarter 2 were a whopping 44% wrong. Now we hear that Civil Servants got their numbers massively wrong on the multi-billion West Coast Line tender. Hardly surprising that the gigantic debts the Coalition Government inherited from the last Labour Government are not coming down anything like fast enough when Civil Servants can't do basic sums!
